Bill Wattenburg - Author

Author

As an author, Wattenburg has written two books for the general public: one book, Best Jokes From Talk Radio, is a compilation of risque jokes heard on talk radio; his second book, How to Find and Fascinate a Mistress, is a fictionalized version of Wattenburg's exploits with young women in the 1970s. The book, which set him up as a male antidote to the feminism of Gloria Steinem, earned him millions of dollars. It was published under the pseudonym Will Harvey; the book has long been out of print.

Famous quotes containing the word author:

That author who draws a character, even though to common view incongruous in its parts, as the flying-squirrel, and, at different periods, as much at variance with itself as the caterpillar is with the butterfly into which it changes, may yet, in so doing, be not false but faithful to facts.
    Herman Melville (1819–1891)

In America the majority raises formidable barriers around the liberty of opinion; within these barriers an author may write what he pleases, but woe to him if he goes beyond them.
    Alexis de Tocqueville (1805–1859)

The lesson intended by an author is hardly ever the lesson the world chooses to learn from his book.
    George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950)
