Bhupinder Singh Hooda
Bhupinder Hooda / بھوپندر سنگھ ہودہ (born 15 September 1947) is an Indian politician and leader of the Indian National Congress who has been Chief Minister of Haryana since March 2005. He began a second term in October 2009 after leading the Congress Party to an election victory. This was the first time since 1972 that a party had returned to power in Haryana 2 times consecutively . He is from the Indian National Congress. He is also a Member of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.
On April 8, 2010, Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh had constituted the Working Group on Agriculture Production under his chairmanship to recommend strategies and action plan for increasing agricultural production and productivity, including long-term policies to ensure sustained agricultural growth.
