In 2012, U.S. News & World Report named BHS the 2nd best public high school in Ohio and 120th in the Nation. In school year 2009-2010, BHS earned the 11th best Performance Index (PI) score of any grade 9-12 public high school in the state as well as the 3rd best average ACT score of any public high school in the state. In school year 2008-2009, BHS earned the second highest PI score of any public high school in the state of Ohio. The Bexley City School District is one of the top 5% in the nation based on test scores.
