Since 2010, the Oberland has been one of five regions of the canton of Bern, divided into four subregions

  • Thun
  • Obersimmental-Saanen
  • Frutigen-Niedersimmental
  • Interlaken-Oberhasli

Before 2010, the Oberland had consisted of the following districts:
