Bendigo Railway Line - Line Guide

Line Guide

Regular V/Line passenger services operate along the Bendigo line. Some services continue beyond Bendigo as the Swan Hill and Echuca lines. Suburban Metro Trains Melbourne services operate to Sunbury as the Sunbury line, the current limit of electrification on the line.

There is double track as far as Kyneton station, with a single track line continuing beyond. The line beyond Kyneton was previously double track prior to the Regional Fast Rail project in 2005.

During peak hour, some services terminate at Kyneton station.

Bold stations are termini, italic stations are staffed at least part-time (this has been confirmed).

Famous quotes containing the words line and/or guide:

What comes over a man, is it soul or mind
That to no limits and bounds he can stay confined?
You would say his ambition was to extend the reach
Clear to the Arctic of every living kind.
Why is his nature forever so hard to teach
That though there is no fixed line between wrong and right,
There are roughly zones whose laws must be obeyed?
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)

The wheel of fortune guide you,
The boy with the bow beside you
    Run aye in the way
    Till the bird of day
And the luckier lot betide you.
    Ben Jonson (1572–1637)
