Faculty
BUCT consists of 10 schools which are Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Information Science and Technology, Economic Management, Science, Humanities and Law, Life Science and Technology, Further Education and Vocational Education. More than 1800 staff members are working on campus, including 7 academicians of the country and over 600 full and associate professors. Around 12000 students are currently studying at BUCT including more than 5000 for Master's or Doctoral degrees. There are 5 postdoctoral programs, 27 Ph.D. specialties, 50 master programs and 42 bachelor program specialties offered in the university. Chinese students and foreign students can apply in all specialties.
