Music Video
"Beautiful Stranger" featured a retro music video that was directed by Brett Ratner and shot on May 1, 1999 at Universal Studios in Universal City, California.
In the lighthearted music video Austin Powers (played by actor Mike Myers) is seen driving down the road as he gets the assignment to catch a spy (Madonna), "a master of disguise," who is "seducing top agents." As the video continues Austin Powers finds Madonna at a club singing and dancing on stage in front of a crowd of people. As he watches her perform he finds himself mesmerized by her feminine charms and begins to fantasize about spending time with her. The video ends with Austin imagining that he and Madonna are driving down the street together. The music video, like the song, was extremely successful, winning an MTV Video Music Award for Best Video from a Film. It is available on Madonna's The Video Collection 93:99, and Celebration: The Video Collection, as well as on the DVD release of Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

Famous quotes containing the words music and/or video:
“Nearly all the bands are mustered out of service; ours therefore is a novelty. We marched a few miles yesterday on a road where troops have not before marched. It was funny to see the children. I saw our boys running after the music in many a group of clean, bright-looking, excited little fellows.”
—Rutherford Birchard Hayes (18221893)
“We attempt to remember our collective American childhood, the way it was, but what we often remember is a combination of real past, pieces reshaped by bitterness and love, and, of course, the video pastthe portrayals of family life on such television programs as Leave it to Beaver and Father Knows Best and all the rest.”
—Richard Louv (20th century)
