Beans Reardon

John Edward "Beans" Reardon (November 23, 1897 — July 31, 1984) was an American umpire in Major League Baseball who worked in the National League from 1926 to 1949. He worked five World Series and three All-Star Games. He is depicted as the central figure in illustrator Norman Rockwell's Bottom of the Sixth.
