Famous quotes containing the words bank and/or islam:

We bank over Boston. I am safe. I put on my hat.
I am almost someone going home. The story has ended.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)

During the first formative centuries of its existence, Christianity was separated from and indeed antagonistic to the state, with which it only later became involved. Bernard Lewis, U.S. Middle Eastern specialist. Islam and the West, ch. 8, Oxford University Press (1993)
