The Banu Asad have been complimented by the prophet Mohammad as only few Arab tribes have been. The Banu Asad spread and developed the Arabic language since the 1st or the 2nd century.

Famous quotes containing the words relation to, relation and/or prophet:

Only in a house where one has learnt to be lonely does one have this solicitude for things. One’s relation to them, the daily seeing or touching, begins to become love, and to lay one open to pain.
    Elizabeth Bowen (1899–1973)

The foregoing generations beheld God and nature face to face; we, through their eyes. Why should not we also enjoy an original relation to the universe? Why should not we have a poetry and philosophy of insight and not of tradition, and a religion by revelation to us, and not the history of theirs?
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,
    Bible: New Testament, Luke 1:76.

    Zechariah speaking about his son.
