History
The event started in 2003 as a Tier 4 event with the prize money of US$6. It was held in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh until 2006. In 2007, the event was upgraded to a Tier 3 event and was moved to Bangalore. In 2008, it was upgraded further to a Tier 2 event.
