Bahlul Khan Lodi (Pashto: بهلول لودي ; died July 1489) was the founder of Lodi dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate in India upon the abdication of the last claimant from the previous Sayyid rule. He was born into an Afghan family of traders, and became a renowned warrior and governor of Sirhind (Punjab). Bahlul became sultan of the dynasty on 19 April 1451 (855 AH).
