Back Line
The term back line can either refer to the full-back line consisting of the two back pockets and the fullback, or both the full and half-back lines, which collectively is can also be referred to as the defence, defensive unit or the back six.

The line “their name liveth for evermore” was chosen by Rudyard Kipling on behalf of the Imperial War Graves Commission as an epitaph to be used in Commonwealth War Cemeteries. Kipling had himself lost a son in the fighting.
