Bachpan Bachao Andolan

Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA) is a pioneering Child Rights and Anti-Human trafficking non-governmental organization in India working to eradicate bonded labour, child labour and trafficking, along with the demand for education for all children since its inception, in 1980.

BBA today is known for its effective multi-dimensional approach in dealing with the issue of child labour and trafficking. BBA activists are fighting at all fronts – there are some who are working at the grass roots level, some who are working with the victims, yet others who are dealing with the legal aspects and the introduction of new policies in law and order. The movement is not only rigorously active in domains sustaining child labour, but is also working with equal vigor to prevent the problem at the grassroots level.
