Babar Ahmad (born London, England, 1974), is a British citizen and a Muslim of Pakistani descent, who is currently in legal detention in the United States of America whilst awaiting trial, after being extradited from Britain following the conclusion of an eight-year legal battle, during which he was also detained as a prisoner.
