Avigdor Miller - Biography

Biography

Rabbi Miller was born in 1908 in Baltimore. He attended public school and went to an afternoon Talmud Torah. Once he had completed the regular Talmud Torah classes, the school arranged for him to learn privately with a Lubavitcher hasid. The Talmud Torah was unable to pay the gentleman. Rabbi Miller never forgot that this rabbi continued to teach him without being paid and spoke about him with warmth and gratitude.
