Autodesk Sketch Book Pro

Autodesk Sketch Book Pro

SketchBook Pro, also referred to as SketchBook, is drawing software that features a gesture-based user interface. It was originally developed by Alias Systems Corporation, but is now owned by Autodesk.

SketchBook Pro has an uncluttered interface, and painting and drawing tools such as pencils, markers, and brushes. By using the pressure-sensitive features of graphics tablets, tablet computers, and smartphones, it can help artists sketch and create effects similar to traditional materials.

Autodesk SketchBook Pro software also features a screenshot tool for annotation, allowing one to show content during a meeting and add notes as the content is reviewed. The previous/next buttons make it possible to create flipbooks or animations. The program supports layers with import and export of Photoshop (.psd) format. Other features include rulers, symmetry, the ability to customize brushes, create texture brushes, and rotate the canvas.

SketchBook Pro communities exist on Twitter, Facebook, and Autodesk's AREA online community.

Famous quotes containing the words sketch, book and/or pro:

We criticize a man or a book most sharply when we sketch out their ideal.
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)

If any ambitious man have a fancy to revolutionize, at one effort, the universal world of human thought, human opinion, and human sentiment, the opportunity is his own—the road to immortal renown lies straight, open, and unencumbered before him. All that he has to do is to write and publish a very little book. Its title should be simple—a few plain words—”My Heart Laid Bare.” But—this little book must be true to its title.
    Edgar Allan Poe (1809–1845)

It is sweet and honourable to die for one’s country.
[Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori.]
Horace [Quintus Horatius Flaccus] (65–8 B.C.)
