Influenza A Virus Subtype H1N1
As of 17 June 2009, there have been two hundred confirmed cases of H1N1, both students in grade 8, and approximately 60 students have shown symptoms. The school announced it would close for two weeks starting 17 June, starting its term break early.
The confirmed case figure has since grown to 68 students, making it the largest single outbreak of H1N1 in Hong Kong (as of 25 June).
