Hobart-based Artist-run Initiatives
Inflight and Six_a are artist-run initiatives based in North Hobart. Inflight has been in operation since 2003, while 6a more recently opened in 2007. 10% Pending is also recognised as an artist-run initiative, even though it has no permanent gallery space preferring to organise off-site exhibitions and events.
The Australia Council for the Arts has also produced a comprehensive list of Australian artist-run initiatives in operation in 2006.
