Dimaraji
The Dimasas,an indigenous community of the North East India has been demanding a separate state called "Dimaraji or Dimaland" for several decades. It would comprise the erstwhile kingdom of Herambapur, Tularam country. The region composed of present districts Dima Hasao, Cachar and parts of Nagaon, Karbi Anglong of Assam and also some parts of Dimapur (known as the brick city) in Nagaland, which was once the glorious capital of the Dimasa kingdom.
