Conservation
The Arthur M. Sackler Gallery has participated in a number of conservation projects related to Asian art and objects. In 2009, a group of conservators used laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory to explore the "fingerprints" of ancient Chinese gold objects from the Gallery.
