Famous quotes containing the words house and/or earth:

    Mothers of America
let your kids go to the movies!
get them out of the house so they won’t know what you’re up to
it’s true that fresh air is good for the body
    but what about the soul
that grows in darkness, embossed by silvery images
    Frank O’Hara (1926–1966)

I would rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself than be crowded on a velvet cushion. I would rather ride on earth in an ox cart, with a free circulation, than go to heaven in the fancy car of an excursion train and breathe a malaria all the way.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
