Current Political Career
Mr. KC is now a senior leader and member of the central committee of Nepali Congress party. Recently in the Nepali Congress convention Mr. KC won with the second highest number of vote 2034 which showed his depth within the party and his interpersonal relations with the Nepali Congress activist. Mr. KC is a long term and ever popular member of the NC. He has stressed the importance of sustaining the democratic process, the commitment to the peace process, social awareness and inclusion of bigger role for ethnic groups and women in Nepali society. He remains a highly influential within a party. Mr. KC has also stated democratizing the party within, the need to instituionalize the party and to work in a collective leadership. His prior experience in positions of power makes him a very popular within Nepali Congress. Mr. KC is also known to be one of an excellent oratory, articulative and intelligent leader. KC is one of the senior leader that has continuously voiced about Constitution drafting process should be moved ahead by concluding the Peace process.
