Appolo Ohanga was the first black Kenyan cabinet minister in the Colonial Period.
Born in 1913 at Got Regea in Siaya, Nyanza Province, the late Benaiah Appolo Ohanga was the son of the late Ongewe Okelo and Alicia Obura.
