This is a reissue of the Appealing to Venus 7" with extra tracks that was recorded by The Sea Nymphs, a side project of Cardiacs.

This CD only keeps Appealing To Venus from the original 7", dropping Treetops High in favour of a compilation of extra tracks taken from the Mr and Mrs Smith and Mr Drake and The Sea Nymphs albums. Hymn, a Cardiacs song, is a hidden bonus track and is taken from a bootleg recording from the Stonehenge Free Festival in 1984. It was released as a limited edition of 1000 copies and has since been deleted. It is a rare Cardiacs collectable.
