Fear of A Unique Identity (2012)

In March 2012 Mick Moss had an interview with a Persian website TiKWiD and talked more about band's upcoming album. He revealed that the name of album is Fear Of A Unique Identity and it's the first Antimatter album in five years and it would hit the stores in 2012. He said:

"It’s a concept album that explores the mimics in society that would rather blend in with the masses rather than stand as a unique entity for fear of being singled out. This becomes a problem if the masses themselves are actually on the wrong path spiritually and ideologically."

In September 2012, it was announced on the band's official page, that the album would be released worldwide by Prophecy Productions on November 23, 2012.

Famous quotes containing the words fear, unique and/or identity:

... the loss of belief in future states is politically, though certainly not spiritually, the most significant distinction between our present period and the centuries before. And this loss is definite. For no matter how religious our world may turn again, or how much authentic faith still exists in it, or how deeply our moral values may be rooted in our religious systems, the fear of hell is no longer among the motives which would prevent or stimulate the actions of a majority.
    Hannah Arendt (1906–1975)

An absolute can only be given in an intuition, while all the rest has to do with analysis. We call intuition here the sympathy by which one is transported into the interior of an object in order to coincide with what there is unique and consequently inexpressible in it. Analysis, on the contrary, is the operation which reduces the object to elements already known.
    Henri Bergson (1859–1941)

There is a terrible blindness in the love that wants only to accommodate. It’s not only to do with omissions and half-truths. It implants a lack of being in the speaker and robs the self of an identity without which it is impossible for one to grow close to another.
    Alexander Theroux (b. 1940)
