Anthony Daly (hurler)

Anthony Daly (born 29 October 1969) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a left wing-back for the Clare senior hurling team.

Daly made his first appearance for the team during the 1989-90 National League and became a regular member of the starting fifteen over the next decade. During that time he won two All-Ireland winners' medals, three Leinster winners' medals and three All-Star awards. Daly captained the team to the All-Ireland title in 1995 and 1997.

At club level Daly is a Munster medalist with Clarecastle. In addition to this he also won five county club championship winners' medals.

In retirement from playing Daly became involved in team management. After guiding Clarecastle and Kilmoyley to club titles in their respective counties, he had an unsuccessful spell as manager of the Clare senior hurling team. In 2008 Daly was appointed manager of the Dublin senior hurling team.
