The Awesome Android is an artificial lifeform in the Marvel Comics universe. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in Fantastic Four #15 (June 1963). The Mad Thinker created the Awesome Android using a synthesis of ape DNA and unstable molecules.
