  • In 1985, Rosmus' work attracted director Michael Verhoeven's attention. In 1988, he directed Das schreckliche Mädchen (The Nasty Girl), in which Lena Stolze plays Sonja Wegmus, a fictionalized version of Rosmus. The movie received the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film, and it was nominated for the Academy’s Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1991.
