Famous quotes containing the words video games, video, games and/or library:
“It is among the ranks of school-age children, those six- to twelve-year-olds who once avidly filled their free moments with childhood play, that the greatest change is evident. —Marie Winn (20th century)
“These people figured video was the Lords preferred means of communicating, the screen itself a kind of perpetually burning bush. Hes in the de-tails, Sublett had said once. You gotta watch for Him close.”
—William Gibson (b. 1948)
“The rules of drinking games are taken more serious than the rules of war.”
—Chinese proverb.
“I view askance a book that remains undisturbed for a year. Oughtnt it to have a ticket of leave? I think I may safely say no book in my library remains unopened a year at a time, except my own works and Tennysons.”
—Carolyn Wells (18621942)
