Anime Central (Abbreviated ACen) is an anime convention that is held yearly in Rosemont, Illinois, United States. It is one of the fastest growing anime conventions in the U.S. and has ranked as the 3rd largest North American anime convention since 2010. The convention is like many other anime conventions; it runs 24 hours a day and lasts 3 days. The Anime Central staff brings in guests from America and Japan that have worked in the anime and manga industry. There are also video viewing rooms where attendees can catch episodes of many different anime series, an exhibit hall featuring both vendors and artist's selling a variety of goods, and thousands of cosplayers that walk around showing off their costumes.

Famous quotes containing the word central:
“The Federal Constitution has stood the test of more than a hundred years in supplying the powers that have been needed to make the Central Government as strong as it ought to be, and with this movement toward uniform legislation and agreements between the States I do not see why the Constitution may not serve our people always.”
—William Howard Taft (1857–1930)
