Angewandte Chemie - Editions

Editions

The journal appears in two editions with separate volume and page numbering: a German edition, Angewandte Chemie (ISSN 0044-8249 (print), ISSN 1521-3757 (online)), with the magazine and review sections as well as some original research in German, and a fully English-language edition, Angewandte Chemie International Edition (ISSN 1433-7851 (print), ISSN 1521-3773 (online)). The editions are identical in content with the exception of occasional reviews of German-language books or German translations of IUPAC recommendations. Only one edition is listed in abstracting and indexing services such as PubMed, Web of Science, or Chemical Abstracts Service; this is typically the International Edition.

Famous quotes containing the word editions:

The next Augustan age will dawn on the other side of the Atlantic. There will, perhaps, be a Thucydides at Boston, a Xenophon at New York, and, in time, a Virgil at Mexico, and a Newton at Peru. At last, some curious traveller from Lima will visit England and give a description of the ruins of St Paul’s, like the editions of Balbec and Palmyra.
    Horace Walpole (1717–1797)
