Andrew Dunn (cinematographer)

Andrew William Dunn, BSC, is a British cinematographer. He received the British Academy of Film and Television Arts best cameraman award three times in the 1980s.

Dunn was born in London, England, and received his bachelor’s degree from Christ's College, Cambridge. He started making films in his early teens. Dunn studied film at the Polytechnic of Central London. He joined the BBC as a film editor, but continued to develop and shoot his personal projects. Dunn’s first film credit was in 1981 for cinematography on the BBC film Andrina.

Dunn has served as Director of Photography on a wide variety of films from L.A. Story to 1991 to Miss Potter in 2006.
