  • On September 10, 2007 near Monclova, Coahuila, México, a trailer loaded with 22 tons of ammonium nitrate crashed into a truck leaving three dead in the crash. A fire then started in the trailer's cabin and approximately 40 minutes after that, a huge explosion occurred, resulting in around 150 people injured and 37 more dead. A crater 30 ft (9.1 m) wide and 6 ft (1.8 m) deep was created due to the explosion.
