National Payroll Week
Every year the American Payroll Association hosts National Payroll Week, a national celebration and public awareness campaign. National Payroll Week (or NPW) is held annually during week of Labor Day, and celebrates the hard work by America's 156 million wage earners and the payroll professionals who pay them. Together, through the payroll withholding system, they contribute, collect, report and deposit approximately $1.7 trillion (71.8%) of the annual revenue of the US Treasury.
