America Town is the major label debut of American singer John Ondrasik, under the Five for Fighting moniker. It was released through Aware Records, a Columbia Records subsidiary, in 2000. Although America Town isn't John's breakthrough, it contains two of his most well-known songs, "Easy Tonight" and "Superman (It's Not Easy)".

Famous quotes containing the words america and/or town:
“Women of my age in America are at the mercy of two powerful and antagonistic traditions. The first is the ultradomestic fifties with its powerful cult of motherhood; the other is the strident feminism of the seventies with its attempt to clone the male competitive model.... Only in America are these ideologies pushed to extremes.”
—Sylvia Ann Hewitt (20th century)
“If the street life, not the Whitechapel street life, but that of the common but so-called respectable part of town is in any city more gloomy, more ugly, more grimy, more cruel than in London, I certainly dont care to see it. Sometimes it occurs to one that possibly all the failures of this generation, the world over, have been suddenly swept into London, for the streets are a restless, breathing, malodorous pageant of the seedy of all nations.”
—Willa Cather (18761947)
