Burnside residence hall at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston and Burnside Park in downtown Providence are named after General Burnside. Burnside, Kentucky, in south-central Kentucky, is a small town south of Somerset named for the former site of Camp Burnside, near the former Cumberland River town of Port Isabelle.
