An Almond Joy is a candy bar manufactured by Hershey's. It consists of a coconut-based center topped with two almonds, the combination enrobed in a layer of milk chocolate. Almond Joy is the sister product of Mounds, which is essentially the same confection but without the almond and coated instead with dark chocolate; it also features similar packaging and logo design, but in a red color scheme instead of Almond Joy's blue.

Famous quotes containing the words almond and/or joy:
“Is a park any better than a coal mine? What’s a mountain got that a slag pile hasn’t? What would you rather have in your garden—an almond tree or an oil well?”
—Jean Giraudoux (1882–1944)
“Since every man who lives is born to die,
And none can boast sincere felicity,
With equal mind, what happens, let us bear,
Nor joy nor grieve too much for things beyond our care.”
