Alien Breed is a series of Gauntlet-style top-down sci-fi shoot 'em up video games developed by Team17 primarily for the Commodore Amiga in the 1990s, heavily inspired by the Alien films. Later, first person shooter titles were released under the Alien Breed name. In 2009, the series was revived with Alien Breed Evolution.
Famous quotes containing the words alien and/or breed:
“He who doesnt know how to be a servant should never be allowed to be a master; the interests of public life are alien to anyone who is unable to enjoy others successes, and such a person should never be entrusted with public affairs.”
—Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (18601904)
“The name of the town isnt important. Its the one thats just twenty-eight minutes from the big city. Twenty-three if you catch the morning express. Its on a river and its got houses and stores and churches. And a main street. Nothing fancy like Broadway or Market, just plain Broadway. Drug, dry good, shoes. Those horrible little chain stores that breed like rabbits.”
—Joseph L. Mankiewicz (19091993)
