Alan Chin (artist)
Alan Christopher Chin (born October 15, 1987) is a contemporary American artist. He maintains a studio in both Berkeley, and in Los Angeles primarily working in mediums including, painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and film. He is most known for his exploratory paintings and sculptures. He received his BFA in Ceramics (2010) at the California College of the Arts in Oakland, California. As a Chinese American artist, he draws inspiration from a fascination with his family’s heritage, contemporary society, nature, and art history.
