Aisha Duo is the name of a jazz musical duo. The members are Andrea Dulbecco (Vibraphone) and Luca Gusella (Marimba), Italian musicians who began working together after being in the same percussion class at the Conservatory of Milan.
The term "aisha" is an Arabic female name meaning "alive".
Marco Decimo (Cello) and Glen Velez (Frame Drums) appeared on Aisha Duo's first (live) recording, Quiet Songs.
Two of the band's songs, Amanda and Despertar, are loaded by default onto any computer with an installation of Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system.
