Namesakes
The Ahwahnee Hotel and Ahwahneechee Village, a recreated of a 19th tribal village, in Yosemite Valley are both named for the tribe, as are the Ahwahnee Heritage Days. Ahwahnee, California and Ahwahnee Estates, California are also named after the tribe.
