Agreement On Sub-Regional Arms Control

Agreement on Sub-Regional Arms Control is an agreement signed on June 14, 1996 in Florence, Italy, that limits the number of tanks, armored combat vehicles (ACVs), artillery, combat aircraft and attack helicopters that the parties to the agreement can possess. As part of the agreement, the parties of FR Yugoslavia (now succeeded by Serbia and Montenegro), the two entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republica Srpska) and Croatia annually exchange information on and allow inspections of their military holdings. It was signed under the supervision of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

For the mother who has opted to stay home, the question remains: Having perfected her role as a caretaker, can she abdicate control to less practiced individuals? Having put all her identity eggs in one basket, can she hand over the basket freely? Having put aside her own ambitions, can she resist imposing them on her children? And having set one example, can she teach another?
