Advance Motor Manufacturing Company

The Advance Motor Manufacturing Company was a British motorcycle and engine manufacturer established in 1905. Famous quotes containing the words advance, motor and/or company:

They [women] can use their abilities to support each other, even as they develop more effective and appropriate ways of dealing with power.... Women do not need to diminish other women ... [they] need the power to advance their own development, but they do not “need” the power to limit the development of others.

    Over the immense upland
    the pulse of their blossoming
    thunders through us.
    Denise Levertov (b. 1923)

    Lewis H. Lapham (b. 1935)
