  • 2012 February 26: Women May Be Able to Make New Eggs: The research conducted showed adult female mice are able to make new eggs. Recent evidence demonstrates that women of reproductive age are also able to make new eggs. This knowledge was used to identify these kinds of cells in adult ovaries that can still divide, be grown in a lab and appear as mature eggs. Further testing must be done to confirm these results which may have the capability of treating infertility.
