Beta Version
Sony issued a press release on October 9, 2008, commenting on the Beta version's release on the Japanese PlayStation Store scheduled for October 30; however, it was delayed until November 6. The beta version was updated to version 1.02 on November 20, 2008 with 32 additional supported games. Beta version 1.03 came out on November 29, 2008, it added features such as BGM selection (from the XMB). Version 1.06 added the following features: group voice chat, customizable lobby wallpaper (using any image from the PS3 hard drive) and the ability to create 8 person rooms. Version 1.07, now displays the current NAT type for the PS3 on the bottom left of the Title screen.
