Famous quotes containing the word education:

A good education is another name for happiness.
    Ann Plato (1820–?)

Those things for which the most money is demanded are never the things which the student most wants. Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

Give a girl an education and introduce her properly into the world, and ten to one but she has the means of settling well, without further expense to anybody.
