Adam Carr (Chester, UK, 1981) is a curator and writer. In May 2012 he was appointed Curator/Head of Exhibitions at MOSTYN, Wales' leading and largest institution for contemporary visual arts. Previously he has worked for Institute of Contemporary Arts, London and Castello di Rivoli, Museum of Contemporary Art, Italy as a guest curator, among numerous others. From 2006 to 2007 he was an adjunct curator for Kadist Art Foundation, Paris, and later in 2007 he became a visiting professor at Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Norway. He was one of the curators of Artissima art fair, Turin, organizing a section of Present Future and curating the exhibition THE STORE. He is editor in chief of Archive Journal, published by Archive Books. He is currently authoring Secrets, a book exhibition published by Mousse (Milan).
