Abdul Razak Mohaideen - Critics On Mohaideen

Critics On Mohaideen

ALthough he was known to direct several movies which achieved impressive gross collection (hence the phrase Mohaideen's Midas Touch), some critics claimed that the achievement is solely due to the movies' commercial attraction (i.e. the popularity of the lead actors and actresses, CGI and sound effects, etc.) while lacking in the strength of the storyline, character development, and the script choice. His movies typically have plots which are both superficial and straightforward. His lead characters seldom brought impact to the audience. However, his recent development in directing movies shows good improvement, and hope is rested on him to produce an outstanding movie that would be greatly appreciated by his fans and his critics.

Famous quotes containing the word critics:

With a few exceptions, the critics of children’s books are remarkably lenient souls.... Most of us assume there is something good in every child; the critics go from this to assume there is something good in every book written for a child. It is not a sound theory.
    Katharine S. White (1892–1977)
