The AAA World Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship in the Mexican wrestling promotion, Asistencia AsesorÃa y Administración (AAA). Known officially in Spanish as the Megacampeonato Unificado de Peso Completo de la AAA, which verbatim translates to AAA Mega Unified Heavyweight Championship, it is referred to in English press as the AAA World Heavyweight Championship. The title is currently the top championship of the AAA promotion. The championship is generally contested in professional wrestling matches, in which participants execute scripted finishes rather than contend in direct competition.
